If you addressed a letter for the destination “Paradise on Earth” it would probably go to Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii located on Oahu, the most tourist island of the Pacific archipelago. Hawaii is the place of a dream vacation. The climate and landscape decided about the fame of this corner of the earth. Hawaii is famous for its four-kilometer Waikiki beach, which provides all the comforts, including a fabulously warm and clean ocean and with surf dreams. It was in Hawaii that this sport was invented, and the Olympic champion Duke Kahanamoku promoted it in the world. Hawaii, although part of the United States, belongs to the great family of Polynesian nations.
Day 1: Flight from Warsaw to Honolulu with two transfers (one in the European port, one in the USA)
Arrive in Honolulu on Oahu Island. Hawaiian welcome with a wreath of Lei flowers, transfer to the hotel, accommodation and rest. A welcome with Hawaiian liquor, an evening of familiarization.
Day 2: A trip around the island of Oahu (8h)
The program includes entry to the Tantalus viewpoint; entry to the Diamond Head crater; Halona geyser; Hanauma Bay; Makapu lookout, lunch and sunbathing in Waimanalo Bay;
the famous beaches of Sunset and Waimea; visit the pineapples plantation and the Valley of the Temples, return to Waikiki in the evening. Rest, accomodation
Day 3: Oahu – Polynesian Culture Center (10h)
Trip to the Polynesian Culture Center with a stop in a tropical plantation. Polynesia in a nutshell – watching shows in the national villages of the open-air museum: Samoa, Tahiti, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Marquesas, Tonga; IMAX coral reef movie on a 7-hectare screen; in the program of the trip, the Hawaiian feast Luau, as well as the evening review of “Horizons”.
Day 4: Oahu- Trip to Pearl Harbor (5h)
Transfer to the port in the Gulf of Pearl Harbor – a military base in which the Second World War began for the USA; a boat trip to the place commemorating the sinking of the cruiser “Arizona”. Then visit the center of Honolulu – the state capital of Hawaii: a monument to King Kamehameha; the only Royal Palace in the USA; town hall and the governor’s residence; visit to the Cemetery of the Distinguished Pacific in the Punchbowl crater. At 3 pm we finish sightseeing and sail on the ship PRIDE OF AMERICA. At 20.00 we sail to the wide ocean waters.
Day 5: Maui – The island of the valleys (8h)
Cruise to the island of Maui. After leaving the ship, take the scenic route to the top of the Haleakala volcano and admire the magnificent panorama overlooking the 5 Hawaiian islands; visiting plantations from the Protea family; walk through the evergreen Lao valley with a rock spire; in the afternoon a swim at Kaanapali beach, followed by free time in a whaling settlement – Lahaina; after sunset, return to the ship.
Day 6: Maui
Free time for sunbathing on the island or using the attractions of the ship. 18.00 departure from the port.
Day 7: Big Island (Port Hilo) (8h)
Sail to the next Hawaiian island. A trip to the famous Akaka waterfall; drive through avenue of banana trees in the Queen Liliuokalani Park; visit to the orchid plantation. Visiting the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, observing the sulfur eruption, panorama of the Kilauea volcano caldera and the Halemaumau crater, and then walking through the solidified lava.
Day 8: Big Island (Port Hilo)
Free time for a walk around the village of Kailua-Kona, relax on the beach, use of the ship’s infrastructure.
Day 9-10: Kauai (5h)
Expedition to the edge of Waimea Canyon – a fabulously colorful canyon unique in the whole of Oceania. Panorama of the Na Pali coast. Ruins of Fort Elizabeth; stop at the Hanapepe lookout point; drive through Waimea and a stop at Spouting Horn with a view of the sea geyser; sunbathing on the golden sands of the Poipu region.
On the second day free time for a walk around the village of Lihue, relax on the beach, using the ship’s infrastructure. Sailing into the sea in the early afternoon.
Day 11: Oahu
Sail early in the morning to the port of Honolulu, leave the ship, free time for shopping and the last moments in Hawaii. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport, departure to Warsaw.
Day 12
Arrival in Poland. End of the event.
